The Chestnut Hill community rallied to thank the firefighters responsible for extinguishing the blaze that last week engulfed the Hiram Lodge building at 8425-27 Germantown Ave., which also includes the El Quetzal boutique. Firefighters stopped by on Saturday as residents shared expressions of gratitude they’d written on a sign accented with a display of red heart- and star-shaped balloons and hanging between the Chestnut Hill Community Center and the fire-damaged building.
