Author Nancy G. Braitman will celebrate the launch of “Milo Loves the Seashore,” the latest in a series about Milo, a mini Bernedoodle, this weekend during events at The Cedars House in Chestnut Hill.

A party for older children and adults is scheduled for 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, and the book’s illustrator Lee Tew, a student at University of the Art, will attend. A special children’s story time with coloring and sing-a-longs for preschoolers is scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, March 24. Braitman will read from her book and Milo will be there for both events.

The Cedars House is at 200 Northwestern Ave. in Chestnut Hill.
