Dec. 10 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported her vehicle being stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue.

The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy for the period from Dec. 12-19.

Dec. 10 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported her vehicle being stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue. 

Dec. 15 Burglary. A complainant reported an offender breaking the front window of New Era Indian Cuisine, located on the 200 block of East Willow Grove Avenue, to gain access to the restaurant and steal $200 from the register.

Dec. 16 Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported their license plate being stolen from their car, which was parked on the unit block of East Moreland Avenue. 

Mt. Airy 

Dec. 10 Theft. A complainant reported a package being stolen off their porch, located on the 400 block of Slocum Street.

Dec. 10 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle being stolen from the 200 block of East Sedgwick Street.

Dec. 10 Theft. A complainant reported a package being stolen off his porch, located on the 6800 block of Musgrave Street.

Dec. 11 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle being stolen from the 300 block of East Phil Ellena Street.

Dec. 14 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his vehicle being stolen from the 6900 block of Ardleigh Street.

Dec. 14 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his vehicle being stolen from the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Dec. 14 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported her rental vehicle being stolen from the 6400 block of Morton Street.

Dec. 14 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle being stolen from the 6800 block of Crittenden Street.

Dec. 15 Shoplifting. A complainant, who works security at the Wawa located on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue, reported three males stealing food and drinks from the store.

Dec. 15 Shoplifting. A complainant reported an offender stealing a bottle of wine from the wine and spirits store on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Dec. 15 Shoplifting. A complainant reported an offender stealing feminine hygiene products from the CVS Pharmacy located at the corner of Lincoln Drive and Mt. Pleasant Street.

Dec. 15 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle being stolen from the 300 block of E. Gorgas Lane.

Dec. 16 Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported their car being rummaged through with business cards and an iPhone charger having been stolen. There was no damage to the vehicle, which was parked on the 100 block of Roumfort Road.

Dec. 16 Shoplifting. A complainant reported an offender stealing a bottle of tequila from the wine and spirits store on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Dec. 17 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his vehicle being stolen from the 6400 block of Magnolia Street.

Dec. 17 Theft. A complainant reported having her wallet stolen while dining at Trattoria Moma, located on the 7100 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Dec. 17 Thefts. A complainant returned to their apartment on the 400 block of West Sedgwick Street to find all their items missing. The complainant believes it's related to a dispute with their landlord.

Dec. 17 Shoplifting. A complainant reported an offender stealing a bottle of laundry detergent from the CVS located on the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Dec. 17 Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported their license plate being stolen from their car, which was parked on the 6600 block of Sprague Street. 

Dec. 17 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported the catalytic converter being stolen off her car, which was parked on the 6700 block of Crittenden Street.

Dec. 18 Burglary. A complainant reported her ex-boyfriend breaking into her home, located on the unit block of West Mt. Airy Avenue, while she wasn’t there to get his belongings out of her house.
