The following is for crimes reported for the period from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

Nov. 12. Aggravated Assault. A woman reported getting into an argument with a man after he purposely hit her with the front of his car in the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue. 

Nov. 12. Theft. A woman reported her wallet stolen while trying to put a package in her car in the 8500 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 12. Burglary. A woman reported an unknown person entering her apartment in the 900 block of Church Lane. 

Nov. 13. Shoplifting. An offender stole toothpaste from the ACME in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Nov. 13. Theft. A woman reported her laptop stolen after maintenance in her apartment in the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue. 

Nov. 14. Shoplifting. An offender stole bags full of items from a retail store in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 15. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from ACME in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Nov. 15. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A woman reported three men gaining access to her car and stealing various items in the 7600 block of Crittenden Street.

Nov. 16. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A woman reported her car broken into and debit cards stolen in the 800 block of Wolcott Drive. 

Nov. 16. Theft. A woman reported her husband stealing her cell phone and firearms from their apartment in the 200 block of East Willow Grove. 

Nov. 17. Shoplifting. An offender stole vitamins from a retail store in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Mt. Airy 

Nov. 11. Robbery. A man reported being struck in the back of the head by an offender and knocked to the ground in the unit block of West Phil Ellena Street. The offender demanded the man hand over his unlocked phone, threatening to shoot him.

Nov. 11. Aggravated Assault. A man entered an apartment in the 6600 block of Blakemore Street to retrieve belongings. An argument ensued and he attempted to gain entry back into the apartment, while doing so, an offender stabbed him in the hand. The offender was arrested.

Nov. 11. Theft. An unknown person broke into a lock box and stole a key from a facility in the unit block of East Mount Airy Avenue.

Nov. 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her Jeep Cherokee broken into, with wires underneath the steering wheel exposed in the unit block of West Mt. Pleasant Avenue. 

Nov. 12. Shoplifting. An offender stole juice, candy and chips from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 12. Shoplifting. An offender stole $200 worth of items from Family Dollar in the 6500 block of Greene Street. 

Nov. 13. Theft From Motor Vehicle. An unknown person gained access to a complainant’s car, a laptop and Identification in the 300 block of Montana Street.

Nov. 13. Burglary. Offenders were caught on a Ring camera breaking into a house and stealing various items in the 7300 block of Devon Street. 

Nov. 13. Rape. A woman reported being raped by an unknown man after getting into his vehicle in the 800 block of Westview Avenue. 

Nov. 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her Jeep Cherokee stolen in the 100 block of West Hortter Street. 

Nov. 14. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from Family Dollar in the 6500 block of Greene Street. 

Nov. 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his Ford Taurus stolen in the 600 block of West Cliveden Street. 

Nov. 15. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her Honda CRV stolen in the 500 block of East Allens Lane.

Nov. 15. Theft. A man reported a sign for his business and a sign in support of Israel stolen off his yard in the 6900 block of Weatham Street.

Nov. 16. Motor Vehicle Theft.  A man reported his Kia Sportage stolen in the unit block of West Sharpnack Street. 

Nov. 16. Vandalism. A woman reported her car broken into and various items stolen in the 200 block of East Ellet Street.

Nov. 17. Shoplifting.  An offender stole candy, chips and juice from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 17. Simple Assault. Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute between a woman and her child’s father in the 6400 block of Milton Street where the man slapped the woman and pushed her to the ground. The woman got into her car and attempted to leave, but accidentally hit the man’s vehicle. He then intentionally drove into her car.
