The following is for crimes reported for the period from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill 

Nov. 19. Shoplifting. An offender stole body wash from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 19. Aggravated Assault. Police responded to a dispute between a man and a woman in the 7800 block of Stenton Avenue. Both claimed the other was the aggressor, while only the man had visible injuries after being struck with a windshield wiper. 

Nov. 19. Theft. A woman told police that movers she hired stole jewelry while moving her furniture in the 8000 block of Seminole Avenue. 

Nov. 20. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his Honda CR-V stolen in the 7800 block of Winston Road. 

Nov. 20. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her vehicle broken into and damaged in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street. 

Nov. 21. Shoplifting. An offender stole household items and body wash from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 23. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts or Accessories.  An unknown person stole a license plate off a car in the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 24. Theft From Motor Vehicle. After returning from a hike, a woman found her car broken into and her wallet stolen in the unit block of West Bells Mill Road.

Mt. Airy

Nov. 14. Theft. A complainant reported a package stolen from their property in the 500 block of Pelham Road.

Nov. 17. Vandalism. A woman reported an unknown person breaking into her car and damaging the steering column in the unit block of Nippon Street.

Nov. 17. Vandalism. A complainant discovered their car broken into and the steering column damaged in the unit block of East Gowen Avenue. 

Nov. 18. Shoplifting. Offenders stole candy, snacks and soda from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 18. Vandalism/Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant discovered their car broken into and the steering column damaged in the 7200 block of Cresheim Road.

Nov. 18. Theft. An offender stole a Ring camera off the complainant's door in the 100 block of East Phil Ellena Street.

Nov. 19. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his Honda HR-V stolen in the 300 block of East Mount Airy Avenue. 

Nov. 19. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A woman reported a pair of sunglasses stolen from her car in the 300 block of East Mount Airy Avenue. 

Nov. 19. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his vehicle broken into and unable to start in the 500 block of Wadsworth Avenue. Police suspect that the offender attempted to steal the vehicle.

Nov. 19. A man reported the license plate stolen off his vehicle in the 300 block of East Upsal Street. 

Nov. 20. Shoplifting. Two men stole various items from the Grocery Outlet in the unit block of West Hortter Street. 

Nov. 20. Shoplifting. Multiple juveniles stole snacks and drinks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 21. Shoplifting. Multiple juveniles stole snacks and drinks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 21. Shoplifting. Offenders stole snacks and drinks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 21. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her Honda CR-V stolen in the 7200 block of Ardleigh Street. 

Nov. 21. Shoplifting. An offender stole food items from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 22. Robbery. As he was arriving home, a man was approached by two offenders who held him at gunpoint and stole his phone, keys and wallet in the 6400 block of Chew Avenue.

Nov. 23. Vandalism. After an argument, a woman began throwing the complainant's items out a window in the 100 block of East Phil Ellena Street. 

Nov. 23. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A man reported an unknown person stealing CDs and an electronic music player from his car in the 7100 block of Bryan Street. 

Nov. 24. Shoplifting. Offenders stole snacks and drinks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 24. A woman reported that $900 dollars was stolen from her purse in the 500 block of Carpenter Lane.
