The following is for crimes reported from Oct. 19 to Oct. 26. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Oct. 20. Shoplifting. A suspect entered ACME and filled a reusable bag with toiletries before leaving without paying in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Oct. 20. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant told police their vehicle was stolen while parked in the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue.

The following is for crimes reported from Oct. 19 to Oct. 26. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

Oct. 20. Shoplifting. A suspect entered ACME and filled a reusable bag with toiletries before leaving without paying in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Oct. 20. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant told police their vehicle was stolen while parked in the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue.

Oct. 21. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant returned to their vehicle to find an offender had taken $20 and their wallet in the 100 block of East Mermaid Lane.

Oct. 22. Theft. A complainant was at the Chestnut Hill Brewing Company when an unknown offender took her red wallet out of her purse in the 8200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 22. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant told police that their vehicle was stolen and broken glass was on the ground where it was parked in the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue.

Oct. 24. Shoplifting. A woman took eyelashes totaling $100 without paying from a retail store in the 7600 block of Lincoln Drive.

Oct. 24. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked their vehicle at the Chestnut Hill West Station and when they returned the next day, the vehicle was missing in the unit block of Evergreen Avenue.

Oct. 25. Shoplifting. A suspect stole perfume from the CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 25. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported his vehicle was stolen while parked in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Oct. 25. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated his vehicle was stolen in the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue.

Oct. 25. Carjacking. A complainant was walking from his car with friends at Chestnut Hill College when offenders armed with guns demanded his keys and iPhone, took his car, and fled from the 9600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Mt. Airy

Oct. 17. Shoplifting. A man took ice cream without paying from the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in the unit block of West Hortter Street.

Oct. 20. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked at the intersection of West Mt. Pleasant Avenue and Cherokee Street and returned to find their vehicle was missing.

Oct. 20. Shoplifting. A man was seen on camera taking items without paying from the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in the unit block of West Hortter Street.

Oct. 21. Shoplifting. A suspect stole items from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 21. Shoplifting. Suspects stole various items from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 21. Aggravated Assault. A male offender who was hostile towards medics responding to a call of him choking, threw a container full of spit at one medic and was arrested in the 6700 block of Emlen Street.

Oct. 22. Theft. A witness observed an offender walking away with a stolen package in the 7500 block of Boyer Street.

Oct. 22. Shoplifting. A suspect was arrested after taking bags of candy totaling $120.23 from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Oct. 22. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported hearing a car alarm at 3 a.m. and when he went outside in the 7400 block of Ardleigh Street, he discovered his vehicle was gone.

Oct. 22. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant observed men walking her motorized scooter out of a parking lot on her Ring camera in the 7000 block of Pipers Glen Way.

Oct. 23. Shoplifting. Offenders took Red Bulls and left without paying from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 23. Shoplifting. An offender walked into CVS, placed approximately 13 bottles of Febreze spray — worth $4.99 each — into his bag, and left without paying in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Oct. 23. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts or Accessories. A complainant stated he noticed the tag on his vehicle was not the proper tag in the 100 block of West Sharpnack Street.

Oct. 23. Shoplifting. An offender took chips, fruit, and soda totaling $40 from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Oct. 24. Aggravated Assault. A complainant stated he was sitting inside his car when an offender came up and pointed a gun at him in the 100 block of East Sharpnack Street.

Oct. 24. Shoplifting. An offender took body wash and hygiene products totaling $1,000 from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Oct. 24. Shoplifting. An offender took body wash and lotion totaling $200 from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Oct. 24. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts or Accessories. A complainant stated she observed her license plate taken by unknown suspects in the unit block of West Sharpnack Street.

Oct. 24. Destruction of Property and Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant found the passenger window of his car broken and a backpack with books taken in the 200 block of Pelham Road.

Oct. 24. Destruction of Property and Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant stated the rear driver side window of his car was broken and his sneakers were taken at the intersection of West Hortter Street and Pelham Road.

Oct. 25. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant told police his vehicle was stolen while parked in the 800 block of Vernon Road.

Oct. 25. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant who had parked his vehicle in the 500 block of West Mt. Airy Avenue while he was on vacation reported that when he returned, he couldn’t find the vehicle.
