The following is for crimes reported from Feb. 22 to March 1. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Feb. 27. Theft. A complainant stated their phone was picked up by an offender using all the complainant’s information and order number in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

The following is for crimes reported from Feb. 22 to March 1. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

Feb. 27. Theft. A complainant stated their phone was picked up by an offender using all the complainant’s information and order number in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Feb. 27. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant stated she was walking a trail when she returned to her vehicle to find the rear passenger window broken with her purse and wallet missing on Valley Green Road. The card was used at a CVS in Mt. Airy.

Feb. 28. Theft. A complainant stated she arrived home and placed her keys down in the entryway before later attempting to take a cashier’s check to the bank and noticing both missing in the 7800 block of Stenton Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry, the complainant was home during this time, and did not see or hear anyone.

March 1. Shoplifting. An offender stole a bottle of whiskey from the Fine Wine & Good Spirits in the 8700 block of Germantown Avenue.

Mt. Airy

Feb. 20. Theft. A complainant stated her package containing a $525 coffee table was stolen in the 400 block of East Pleasant Street.

Feb. 22. Theft. Complainants reported missing Phillies and Eagles banners from their yard in the 600 block of West Mt. Airy Avenue.

Feb. 24. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated their Honda Pilot was stolen in the 300 block of East Gorgas Lane.

Feb. 24. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant had video footage of their Nissan Altima being stolen in the 500 block of East Mt. Airy Avenue.

Feb. 26. Burglary. A complainant stated two males entered through their kitchen window and took tools in the unit block of West Johnson Street.

Feb. 26. Aggravated Assault. A complainant stated an unknown male got mad at her for asking him to move his double-parked vehicle, pulled out a firearm, and pointed it at her in the 6600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Feb. 26. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated his vehicle was stolen while parked in the 7200 block of Cresheim Road.

Feb. 27. Shoplifting. Two offenders stole fried chicken, bottles of wine, and cases of beer from the ACME in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

Feb. 28. Shoplifting. Offenders stole chips, cookies, and ice cream totaling $70 from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 1. Theft. A complainant saw their deep freezer box in their apartment’s mailroom but returned the next day and it was missing in the 200 block of West Upsal Street.

March 1. Shoplifting. Offenders stole drinks, candy, cookies, and soda totaling $35 from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 1. Aggravated Assault. An offender was arrested after a complainant stated the offender used a knife to cut her multiple times in the 300 block of Vernon Road.

March 1. Aggravated Assault. An offender and complainant got into a verbal argument over living arrangements and relationship issues. The offender said the complainant sprayed him in the face with mace in the unit block of East Cliveden Street.

March 1. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated his Subaru WRX was stolen in the 500 block of Pelham Road.
