The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1.
Oct. 23 (This report was made between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1) Robbery at Chestnut Hill Post Office, 7782 Crittenden St. A woman told police she left the post office and was confronted by two men at approximately 2:30 p.m. The men demanded she give them all her money, which she did. The men fled with the woman’s possessions/cash which were not specified in the report but were said to be worth $4,000. No weapon was reported used in the incident.
Oct. 27 Theft on the 200 block of E. Highland Ave. A woman told police someone had stolen her car’s catalytic converter. The part is worth approximately $1,000.
Oct. 28 Burglary/ Forced entry at 7700 block of Germantown Ave. Police responded to a burglar alarm at the CVS/CHOP Pediatrics property and found the rear had been broken into. Damages and taken items valued at $1,000.
Oct. 28 Burglary / Forced entry, 8006 Germantown Ave. Police responded to a burglar alarm at New Spring Cleaners. They found the front door glass smashed and the cash register emptied of approximately $500.
Oct. 30 Burglary/Forced entry at 7700 block of Crittenden St. Police responded to a burglar alarm at the shopping center at 7700 Crittenden St. They found the front door glass had been smashed but could not determine if anything was taken or if anyone had entered the retail space.
