Don’t turn a blind eye to Greylock easements

The explanation of the board members who voted to approve is vexing and does not bode well for our city or nation. Turning a blind eye to a set of easements that are public record and easily accessible is not acceptable and continues the Philadelphia tradition of ignoring and changing zoning and land use regulations to accommodate any project no matter what the intrinsic values of the land or antecedent codicils leading to community expectations to regulate use thereon. 

Worse is the self-serving explanation offered: "We are only following orders." And the context of the land and what …
