This event was an outreach program sponsored by the Preservation Community, with the goal of providing book bags and educational supplies to children as they begin the 2023-2024 school year.
School supplies were donated by Enon members. To date, Enon has distributed approximately 20,000 book bags to school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade in the Philadelphia community.
Parents registered their children at 8:30 am that morning to receive a bag. All children, grades K-12, were invited to attend and membership at Enon was not a requirement.
