Our beloved brother, Henry Cadwalader Jr., son of Henry Cadwalader and Caroline Seelye Cadwalader of Philadelphia PA, and York Harbor ME, died on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the Gwynedd Healthcare residence in Lansdale, PA. He had been on a slow decline from illness and left peaceably at age sixty-three.
Henry was trained in auto mechanics and had many and varied iconic cars and boats of which he was very proud. He enjoyed them on the waters of the ocean in Florida, Maine, and the lakes of New Hampshire.
Over the years of Henry's travels it would be likely to say that one of the highlights of his life was when he presented himself before the Rt. Rev. Daniel Gutierrez, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, and was confirmed into the fellowship of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oaks PA, with Rev. Jeremiah Mustered, who had become a treasured friend of Henry's over the last ten years where Henry lived and fellowshipped with his church in Oaks, Pennsylvania.
Henry is survived by his four sisters and their husbands and families, including multiple nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. There will be a memorial service planned in the spring at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oaks PA.
