Fles, Joyce E. (nee Wierenga) (July 4, 1941-Dec 8, 2023). Beloved wife of Robert A. Fles. Loving mother to Jonathan (Barbara) Fles, and Timothy (Meghan) Fles and grandmother to Jake.
Joyce was a longtime resident of Chestnut Hill before moving to Normandy Farms Estates in 2015. Joyce worked at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill Preschool, then became a teacher’s aide at Chestnut Hill Academy, and later as the office manager at the Chestnut Hill Pediatric Group. She was an award-winning member of the Chestnut Hill Garden Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to Joyce’s memorial service Friday 12/15, 11am at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Joyce’s name may be made to J. Mark Vanderbeck Memorial Scholarship Fund, 420 Delaware Dr., Fort Washington, PA 19034, which supports the education and career development of Normandy Farms employees.
