Local night market to debut in Germantown

Germantown’s historic Maplewood Mall will transform into an evening marketplace on Nov. 16, hosting more than 40 local vendors in its first-ever G-Town Night Market.

The event, organized by the Maplewood Collective, will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering residents and visitors a mix of food trucks, artisanal crafts, and local merchandise just as the holiday shopping season begins. The organization aims to showcase local entrepreneurship and strengthen community ties through the event.

Food vendors will include popular local establishments like Moshava Philly, Tokio Sushi Truck, and Smoke Break BBQ. The market will also feature handmade goods from vendors such as Joie Candle Co., Infinite Handmade Creations, and Murray Holistic Sea Moss Products. Vendors will offer a diverse selection of products ranging from traditional street food to artisanal crafts, wellness products, and baked goods.

Maplewood Mall is located at Germantown Avenue and East Armat Street.
