United Lutheran Seminary (ULS) will mark its 200th anniversary with a yearlong series of events throughout 2026 on its Mt. Airy and Gettysburg campuses, surrounding regions, and at historic Glen Foerd on the Delaware River. Under the theme “Reforming & Renewing,” the bicentennial will celebrate two centuries of theological education while looking toward the future of ministry and public witness.

Under the theme “Reforming & Renewing,” the bicentennial will celebrate two centuries of theological education while looking toward the future of ministry and public witness.
Among the local events scheduled for next year will be a celebration of local Black churches, with lectures and worship; fall convocation lectures and campus events; tours of Krauth Memorial Library with rare book and art exhibits; and a gala reception and dinner at Glen Foerd, which require tickets. The other events are free. Bicentennial events will continue to be added throughout the year. The Mt. Airy campus is located at 7301 Germantown Ave.
