Police are investigating the case of a 63-year-old man who was found dead in a truck that was parked on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street late Sunday night, between the Village at Chestnut Hill apartment complex and the Market Square Shopping Center.
The investigation into the body found inside a pickup truck late Sunday night is “active and ongoing,” according to Philadelphia police.
According to police, officers received a call at 11:35 p.m. for a “hospital case,” and upon arriving found the man unresponsive inside a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. Medics from the Philadelphia Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene at 11:53 p.m.
The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
