The West Mt. Airy Historic House Tour is set to return on Oct. 20 after a hiatus caused by the COVID pandemic. The event, running from noon to 4 p.m., is organized by Mt. Airy Learning Tree (MALT) and West Mt. Airy Neighbors (WMAN).

The self-guided tour will feature six 19th and 20th century homes, including a Cotswold Revival-style mansion and houses in Mt. Airy's French Village. Docents will be available at each location.

"This tour showcases the rich history and unique architecture that makes our neighborhood so special," said Jo Winter, executive director of WMAN.

Advance tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at mtairylearningtree.org or by calling 215-843-6333. On-site registration is available until 2 p.m. at 30 Pelham Road.

Proceeds will benefit both MALT and WMAN. The event is sponsored by local businesses including Khosla Properties and Kurtz Construction.
