Autumn is boom time for fairs and festivals, and nowhere hosts a better show than Northwest Philadelphia, the green heart of our city. The Mt. Airy Village Fair, now in its 16th year, is held annually at the intersection of Carpenter Lane and Greene Street.

This entirely community-run, volunteer-led festival in West Mt. Airy is notable for its human scale and family friendliness, reflecting the values for which this charming neighborhood is known. With tables and chairs everywhere, it offered the perfect opportunity for people watching.
