My daughter Samantha found the article Len Lear wrote on my uncle Alfred Jerdan who recently passed away (“Longtime Gravers Lane Train Station resident dies at 96,” June 26). My mother was his sister, Ada Jerdan Morrison, and I have very fond memories of visiting Gravers Lane Train Station with my mom, dad, brothers, and sisters. My daughter Samantha found the article Len Lear wrote on my uncle Alfred Jerdan who recently passed away (“Longtime Gravers Lane Train Station resident dies at 96,” June 26). My mother was his sister, Ada Jerdan Morrison, and I have very fond memories of visiting Gravers Lane Train Station with my mom, dad, brothers, and sisters. My mother shared her memories of growing up there that were so different from today, and we treasure all these memories. I have shared them with my children, who still ask me many questions. Uncle Al was the last of my grandparents' children and a treasure trove of memories. I wanted to take the time to thank you for the story and for another walk down memory lane. I will include the article with memorabilia I have collected for my children.
