Signs of things getting back to normal include holiday shows, tours and Santa sightings, and a lot of Christmas caroling

Holiday Shows

Little Women, the Musical. Quintessence Theatre is staging the 2005 musical, with book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland, based on (you guessed it) Louisa May Alcott's book. Dec. 1-Jan. 2. Sedgwick Theatre, 7137 Germantown Ave. quintessencetheatre.org/littlewomen

A Philadelphia Nutcracker. Students of the Philadelphia Dance Theatre in Mt. Holiday Music

In addition to the street bands on Stag and Doe Nights and weekends, there are other local music options in the holiday season at local spots.

Conversations with Santa.  Schedule an appointment to meet with Santa. Each time slot is for one family. Have your own special meeting with Santa. Bring your wish list.
