Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia announced thousands of need-based scholarships Thursday for the 2025-2026 school year, expanding educational access for low-income families across the city. Recipients were selected through a random lottery process from applications submitted before the November deadline. Families who missed the November deadline can still apply for remaining 2025-2026 scholarships until March 1, 2025. Winners from this second round will be notified in March 2025.
During the current academic year, CSFP has awarded over 6,500 scholarships to K-8th grade students. All scholarships are awarded based on financial need.
