Hundreds of families attended a Partner School Fair on Nov. 9 at Community College of Philadelphia to explore private education options through Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia, the state's largest Pre-K-8th grade scholarship program.

The fair connected families with representatives from more than 150 private schools and provided information about scholarship opportunities for the 2025-26 school year.

"CSFP believes that education is personal, and every family deserves to send their children to a school that best meets their needs," said Keisha Jordan, president and CEO of Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia.

The organization awards scholarships ranging from $1,250 to $3,350 to Philadelphia families meeting income guidelines. Recipients must contribute at least $500 toward annual tuition.

Emily Santiago, whose two children receive scholarships, said the program gave her family educational choices they wouldn't have had otherwise.

The organization currently supports nearly 6,200 K-8th grade students across Philadelphia's private schools. Families seeking scholarships for the next academic year must apply by Nov. 15 to enter the December lottery. A second lottery will be held in March.

Eligible families must live in Philadelphia and have children entering Pre-K through eighth grade. For more information, visit csfphiladelphia.org/scholarships.
