The Chestnut Hill Conservancy and Friends of the Wissahickon are participating in community reviews of the variance request.
In our roles as Registered Community Organizations, the Chestnut Hill Conservancy and Friends of the Wissahickon are participating in community reviews of the variance request for the current Greylock project proposal.
We have been working to ensure the appropriate handling of this property for 20 years, and throughout this time, we have not wavered in our commitment to the community. Maintaining the integrity of the intent of the easements is in line with the vision of preserving the character of the land, buildings, and neighborhood.
We hope for a viable development project protecting both the site and the community.
More information about Greylock's history, easements, our consideration of the conceptual version of the current proposal, and the next steps may be found on the Chestnut Hill Conservancy's website.
