The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is showing a new documentary, “Plan C for Civilization,” on June 5 at 6 p.m. The screening is free and will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the film’s director, Ben Kalina.
The film depicts the impacts of climate change, with novel and risky technologies getting more attention from researchers, funders and policymakers. Part thriller, part wake-up call, “Plan C for Civilization” describes the hidden world of climate technology, and asks whether we can still afford to ignore one of the most controversial topics on Earth.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the screening is free. Register at luma.com/drwq89fs. The Schuylkill Center is at 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road in Roxborough.
