"We know that it can be difficult for customers with young children to find adequate space on-board buses," said SEPTA Interim General Manager Scott A. Sauer, who emphasized the program was designed with input from both passengers and operators.
Passengers using the stroller areas are advised to secure children within strollers, engage brakes, maintain hold of the stroller while aboard, and keep aisles and doorways clear. The accessibility ramp can be requested when boarding or exiting.
While riders are encouraged to yield these spaces to those traveling with children in strollers, priority seating for passengers with mobility limitations will continue to be available on all vehicles.
