Thank you for a beautiful tribute

What a beautiful tribute you wrote for Al (“Albert John Wenzel, multitalented CHA grad, dies at 76,” May 18). It encompasses so much of how he flowered in this universe. So many lives he touched and so much life well lived. 

Many people don't grab the bars like Al did. He not only grabbed them but “threw his heart over the bar, and his body followed” (Norman Vincent Peale).

My family and I are so grateful to you for your excellent article on one of the greatest guys we have ever known. I was brought to tears again, and I am sure many more will follow. A …

What a beautiful tribute you wrote for Al (“Albert John Wenzel, multitalented CHA grad, dies at 76,” May 18). It encompasses so much of how he flowered in this universe. So many lives he touched and so much life well lived.

My family and I are so grateful to you for your excellent article on one of the greatest guys we have ever known. I was brought to tears again, and I am sure many more will follow. A piece of the puzzle is missing from us now. You have highlighted the very breath of his life. What a skill. 

Len Lear, who wrote the obituary, is the master of the heart and soul and speaks for so many of us. Thank God that pen and keyboard found him in life. As part of the community and knowing him over these years as an author and a gentleman, I say thank you and God bless.
