Dear Neighbors,

Spring is here and it’s time to make Chestnut Hill once again Clean and Green!

Join us on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to noon for the second annual Chestnut Hill Litter Cleanup. To register: chestnuthill.org/ch_clean_up_day.php. Advance registration is not required, but it will help us coordinate street assignments ahead of time and ensure you get your preferred location.

Volunteers will meet at Buckley Park on Germantown Avenue at E. Hartwell and spread out across Chestnut Hill to pick up the wind-blown paper and trash along Germantown Avenue and our residential sidewalks accumulated over the winter. With enough volunteers, we will be able to cover Chestnut Hill Avenue to Mermaid Lane from St. Martin’s/Seminole to Stenton Avenue.

This effort is part of Philly Spring Cleanup, and the city will be providing bags, rakes, brooms, shovels and some gloves (but if you want a good fit, bring your own!).

Thanks for your help to keep Chestnut Hill beautiful. We hope to see you on April 11!
