Phew ... You have endured so much. I do hope your health and home are fully and swiftly restored.

Please also accept my deepest (albeit belated) gratitude for the beautiful, meaningful piece you penned in November of 2023 about my beloved husband, Kevin Saint Clair, who was killed Nov. 6 riding his bike. Honestly, after months and months of blackness, I am only now beholding glimmers of light …

(You’ve also written about our son, Jack, who is a jazz composer and performer.)
