The campaign offers events that give seniors access to college fairs, application help, financial aid support, and more resources to help plan what comes next.
The events are designed to answer questions about what students should know as they prepare for life after high school, including what seniors can do now to feel more confident about their next step, what support is available to students and families navigating their options, how students can figure out which options are the best fit for them, and why is it important for students to explore more than one path after high school.
City Council recently recognized October as College Awareness Month, by honoring the Philadelphia Education Fund and CASE for their commitment to ensuring Philadelphia students are informed, prepared and supported throughout the college application process.
The Philadelphia Education Fund is a nonprofit organization committed to giving students in Philadelphia’s lowest-performing public schools the support they need to recognize, and act on, their potential to earn college degrees and build professional careers.
