The following crimes are from the week of June 29 to July 5, 2014.
July 1. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m., an unknown person stole a Global Positioning System, assorted groceries, party paper and plastic goods from a blue Honda.
July 2. Unit block W. Willow Grove Avenue. Complainant states she left her vehicle unlocked and when she returned she found an unknown person had stolen change from the ashtray.
July 3. 8400 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that a review surveillance camera shows a male stuffing what appears to be a black wallet into his waist band. Offender, black male, 5'10” tall, approx. 230 lbs., wearing a white tank t-shirt and green cargo shorts.
July 5. 800 block Wolcott Drive. Between 1 and 2:30 p.m., an unknown person broke the passenger side front window and stole his wife's purse from a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. Purse contained a debit card and New Jersey driver's license.
Summary – Four crimes for week: one theft and three thefts from vehicles.
