The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 11 through Oct. 17
Oct. 11. 8800 block of Germantown Ave. Theft from vehicle. Owner told police that an unknown person broke the driver's side window of her 2012 Hyundai and stole a wallet, a driver's license, a check book and credit cards valued at $500.
Oct. 13. 8200 block of Germantown Ave. Theft. The manager for DWD Mechanical stated an unknown person took various sizes of copper tubing and scrap metal valued at $1,800 from the construction site.
Oct. 13. 8700 block of Seminole Ave. Theft from Vehicle. Owner told police somewhere between 3 a.m. – 7 a.m., an unknown person broke the front driver's side window causing the window to shatter. Taken was one pair of headphones V-Mod A, two pairs of Ray Ban Sunglasses and a pair of Ray Ban Wrap Around Sunglasses valued at $500.
Oct. 13. 8600 Germantown Ave. Theft from Vehicle. A woman told police she parked her Dad's vehicle on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. and returned on Oct. 13. at 6:40 p.m. and discovered that the front driver window was broken. Taken was one black iPod with a white sticker. Damage and value of items taken was estimated at $500.
Oct. 16. 8000 Block of Winston Road. A woman told police that on Oct. 16 at approximately 12:15 p.m., she noticed 2 copper drain spouts missing valued at approximately $260.
Summary - Five crimes for the week: three thefts from vehicles and two thefts.
