Dr. Heidi Anne Foster (10/25/1950) died on Saturday January 27th from pneumonia at the age of 73. Heidi was an educator who taught at LaSalle, Drexel, and Textile University before finding her academic home at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy where she taught English for many years. Heidi was a great lover of literature, horticulture, art, and dogs. She was cherished by her many friends for her warmth, intelligence, and humor.
She is survived by her husband David Fink, her daughter Sophie Foster-Fink, son Charles Foster Fink, son in law Bryan Nichols. and her grandchildren River Foster Nichols and Sage Foster Nichols. A memorial service will be held at Abington Friends Meeting, 520 Meeting House Rd. Jenkintown Pa 19046 on Friday February 2 at 10:00 am.
