Article on local author ‘packed with emotion’

Your article on Jan. 17 about Deborah Spungen and her books, “Table for One” and “I Don't Want to Live This Life” was packed with emotion and beautifully written. I read both books and could not agree with you more.

Deborah's sense of humor is very apparent in “Table for One.” As with most artists who channel their pain through their work, the same is true for Deb. Her humor is apparently a driving force and a welldeveloped talent that gets her through each day with a positive outlook, and she finds a way to share this with her readers in a most enjoyable style.

In addition, both books are page-turners. I love her honesty and strong ability to communicate and share her most private inner being with her readers. Thank you!
