June 15. Valley Green Inn and Valley Green Road. Complainant states that he was swimming in the Wissahickon and left his pants on shore when an unknown person stole an Apple iPod from his pants pocket. Reported at 2 p.m.
June 22. Bells Mill Road and Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person damaged the driver’s side door and window to a blue 2010 Volkswagen and stole a pocketbook containing a Master card, American Express card and driver’s license from wallet which was inside of vehicle. Reported at 2:30 a.m.
June 25. 9200 block Stenton Avenue. An unknown person entered his unlocked 2001 Honda Civic and stole items from his wallet which was left in vehicle. Reported at 10 a.m.
Summary – Three crimes for week: one theft and two thefts from vehicles.
Make sure that doors and windows are locked at home and in vehicles.
