10th annual ‘Hoops Madness’ at Norwood Fontbonne
Chestnut Hill's 10th annual Hoops Madness basketball tournament, a fundraiser for the Chestnut Hill Community Association, drew over 100 participants for a weekend of friendly competition. Chestnut Hill resident Melissa Cooker (pictured center with son Sam) won the $5,000 prize of free braces from Top of the Hill Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry after making a thrilling buzzer-beater combination of shots that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The tournament, inspired by NCAA March Madness, features 3-on-3 half-court games and shooting contests for all ages.
