These issues are important to think about while you’ve got the time and space to do so. On Sunday, Oct. 25, Chestnut Hill United Church invites you to a free workshop designed to help you think through these questions and more.
Local attorney Jacqueline K. Rosenberger, of Barber, Sharpe & Rosenberger. will address topics such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for financial matters and healthcare, as well as tips to maximize tax benefits if you’re considering a plan that includes charitable giving.
In addition, church member Joy Bergey will discuss other documents that are useful to have on hand before the end of life that can make it easier for friends, family or emergency responders to help you when needed.
The event will be held on Oct. 25 at 12:30 pm in the church’s sanctuary. The address is 8812 Germantown Ave. Registration is strongly encouraged. Contact the church at chestnuthillunited@gmail.com with any questions.
