I work the polls at the Chestnut Hill Library and I thought your readers might want to know that, in the April Primary Election, Ward 9 which covers Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy and Germantown led the city in voter turnout: 35% versus 17% citywide. (Although, according to the Division data in the Ward, it looks like Division 15 gets the turnout blue ribbon with a 45% turnout).
I truly believe that The Local is an integral part in the high civic participation of our area. Thank you!
